Open source & local communities

Open Seattle advocates for open data and civic technology projects that improve the lives of Seattle residents.
We host monthly meetups where members pitch and work on projects, and build relationships between tech workers, community groups, and local government.

Projects

  • Seattle Boundaries

Find out which boundaries you're in so you can better understand how city services and policies affect you.

  • Hey Duwamish!

A community of residents monitoring toxic waste cleanup & environmental health issues along the Duwamish River.

  • nwdata.org

A directory of open civic data resources for the Pacific Northwest.
